Unable to establish connection to game
As title says, can't connect after cinematic. Posting so it's more visible to devs.

I had this issue, but I had a background service running from my VPN (VPN wasn't on itself) so I closed the program and the issue got resolved.

I actually just set helldivers2.exe compatibility to run as administrator and got in. Give it a shot. Fixed it for me.

Welp... Doing it again. Got through first mission. Wouldn't load back to base. Restarted game. Now doing same thing while "Defrosting Helldiver"

My friend has resolved this problem by closing ALL unnecessary programs in Windows' notification centre, which theses programs might trigger the anti-cheat system to block players from joining others.

My wife had issues on her computer and we managed to solve it by installing on a different hard drive. (Also to note, both the first hard drive and second hard drive are M.2 SSDs)

Not sure if any of the other stuff we did helped or not but we updated to the latest graphics drivers and unplugged unnecessary peripherals (steering wheel and pedals, hotas, etc). Also closed out of unnecessary apps as well.

I found the issue. If you have the premium edition it causes you not to be able to load. I disabled the premium edition DLC an the premium warbond in the steam DLC list, and i got in after spamming the error code away in the waiting screen...
