Collecting tomes & grimoires is...unmanly ?

There is nothing more unmanly then seeing a slayer with a double axe , jumping around on platforms like Lara Croft, to collect a book. Can these feature be removed please? Or just make it optional? U know, when you select your game type u cross off: manly or girly. First one focuses on combat tactics and maximum slaughter with a completed mission at the end. Second option revolves around jumping around like a girly man and collecting books.
What do you guys think?
