This is somewhat paraphrased from a hazy memory but it's a thing.
Seriously? One hedge wizard claimed he had pig atop his head in some rare story and now its ok to use it as cosmetic? What the hell.
But why using it as a cosmetic man? I thought we will stay true to the grim athmosphere of Warhammer and dont do those jokes. If you want to go the joke route, them implement greenskins, they are the funny part of Warhammer.
>pay pig
they're mocking you.
Great, in that regard, why not let him adopt a squig and excuse it with insanity? Zealots have lost it, thats a given, but they use the insanity to crush chaos, thats their only desire. Its quite compareable with Slayer, who arguably has lost it too, since he just wants to die in battle. But i dont see any cosmetic on him using a pig as hat.
You know that all of these cosmetics have to be approved by GW? So it is not like they are unloreful or "untrue" to the WHF atmosphere. Also why do some people stretch the "Grim" nature of WHF if it comes from tabletop gaming where you paint your units in a colourful manner. And did you take a look at some of these? Part of them look goofy and cartoony, especially the Skaven ones. I mean the whole concept of Skaven is kinda goofy.
WHF is more as just being "Grim".
Frankly, i am not sure anymore if GW is actually still involved in this project. Do you have any proof that GW has to apporve anything at this point?
Also, the lore is grim. People painting their goblins pink doesnt have anything to do with the lore.
Also not every Zealot or Slayer have to be crazy, but in Saltz's case his devotion to Sigmar and events he went through could lead to that.
That's how I see it.
I can confirm that everything we do still has to be approved by Games Workshop. :)
Can we get a Chaos Pig portrait please?
10/10 - I love the amount of people having a meltdown.
