Bugged achievements?
I took a screenshot to show I had all the assassinations from the saint book, yet the achievement (think there's others also) isn't awarded. Anyone else having this problem? I did get a different achievement earlier, so it doesn't appear to be all of them. ?

Actually, there's a few story (chapter ones) that didn't save- I've beaten the game on my Steam before and it's still showing them not earned.

*Assassinations Completed - No Achievement awarded screeshot.

With my internet, I wouldn't go through that hassle unless I knew it worked. I got an answer on the missions, but the achievements not awarding for many is still just busted (on 2 different PC's). Some do, some don't- fully upgrading strongholds never has for example, for me at least, and I've beaten it 2-3 times. Some claim they've 100% the game, maybe they have, but you can also use achievement manager I think it's called to do the same thing. Whichever- it seems it at least 'no longer' 100%'able. I've basically given up on it since I doubt volition even reads on this game anymore, and I got bored with SR4 pretty quick (I'll finish it someday).

I find Steam to be the least glitchy for achievements. I've been conned out of so many GFWL achievements because of syncing issues but Steam seems to work all the time flawlessly for every game. Just make sure you're always online when you earn an achievement to guarantee it syncs

Trouble with Clones is supposed to be re-playable after completing it (same with gangstas in space). After you finish either set of missions, save and reload, you can then do them over again (if you choose).

As far as the assassinations, how many does it say you've completed? Some don't become available until you have progressed further in the game and meet specific NPCs, so even if it says you have 15/15 completed, it may just mean you've completed all the ones that are currently available and need to progress the story.

bubba- As I mentioned above, I already had an answer on the missions.

Far as assassinations, I have all 32 (I own the game guide and have done them all before). I'm not new -especially to the main (non-dlc) part of the game. Some you should get as you simply progress through the story -completion of act 1 (or act 1 another way) for example. I have a level 40'something character right now- all the strongholds are maxed (achievement only requires 1, for the record) and it's not awarded- that one never did though- some I've had to re-earn, that one never worked, and some aren't working -like assassinations and some others.

no-denial- Achievements are not just based on Steam, the game and it's updates effect them too- there have been many games on Steam, through no fault of STeam that have bugged achievements- often times I've read forums with good dev communication w/community and when they learn of a bugged achievement(s), whether it started that way or became that way- sometimes game-updates (from game dev) are to blame, they work on it and the good ones get them working again. Not all games have this luxury. (I was online, though that isn't required of all games, as many you can earn achievements while offline). I'm not assuming it's Steam's fault at all, if I were I wouldn't have given up on it. :csgoct:
