2) Don't shoot unless your crosshair is on them
3) Play more defensively and wait for them to come to you
4) Use range to your advantage, stay as far away from your opponent as you can, greater distance gives you a greater advantage when you have a sniper and they have a rifle
5) Lower your zoom sensitivity, your sensitivity might be too high and that's make your aim inconsistent
Hope that helps!

Desync is part of all online shooters. Sometime you feel like you have fired 10 bullets on the head of your opponents, but still have died from a single bullet. The reason is more likely due to the desync. You got peeked hard & it happened while you weren't in cover
The best way is to peek & guess players position with quick scope. At long range it may work a bit, but the general rule is just not have your character position visible in a corridor. Camping at it will more likely to get you killed easily rather than performing.
Playing offensively while guessing other players position by considering your opponents time space from the spawn from point A to B is more ideal.
If you want to gain result without using cheat. Always use your opponent pings as clue & adjust your playstyle around it. The larger the disparity, the more time you have in advantage to peek.
