When you join 1 steam group... a lot of other steam group servers also appear in the steam group server list in-game, even though you're not in their steam groups.
The steam group server list in-game also has one more annoying problem, the list automatically updates and shuffles the servers making it very hard to check all the servers and decide which one you really want to join.
As far as I'm aware, anyone can make their server be part of official L4D2 group, so if you are part of said group it will appear in steam servers list. Which is sad, because most of them for me are either russian, allowing cracked players or run 20 players plugin.
( solved. all went fine last days no clue wy ).
