Download Campaign Addon.

Hi guys! I recently updated my L4D2, and i can't play Scavenge mode. I get some error i think. It says that i have to Download Campaign Addon ( #L4D360UI_CampaignName_C8 by Valve ). What's wrong?..

Hm, that is weird. You shouldn't have to download anything for the standard game-modes, assuming you're playing on the official maps. Are you trying to play on a custom map?

Yes. I played Versus mode. Everything allright. But i get this error wen im trying to play Scavenge or Survival modes...

hello, same prob here. Got it fixed ? btw i used to play scavenge and it was fine. and survival, only some time ago, not too long. after some kind of update i presume, it says download add on option for every scavenge/survival map i see.

same prob as you. got this on steam download, sale.

Try renaming addons folder to 1addons , or remove all content , name change is easier.

I'm receiving the same problem with all gamemodes besides Campaign, Single Player, Realism, and some select Mutations, I tried renaming the addons folder to 1addons but I'm still getting the download campaign addon problem, is there a way to fix it without removing my content?

Update: I went back into the files and noticed that it created a new addons file with all of my mods in it, this must be what's causing the problems. I tried deleting the new addons file and it just creates another one. I tried deleting the 1addons file and renaming the new one, but it creates a new one. I even tried merging the damn files, but it still creates a new addons file that screws any versus related/score keeping gamemode, my theory is that Valve adopted Rockstars ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ philosophy of one bad apple spoils the bunch and if one modder ruins a game of versus, then no one can have mods and play any score keeping game. Either that or the game has become sentient and has removed my right to play any non-campaign based game. Any help is still welcome
