There's a pulse rifle mod for the m-16 that you can download from the workshop. Works and sounds great!

@Gorjira54 That sounds an awesome idea! I would love a sound mod for the Pulse Rifle though :( It sounds nice, just missing that authentic sound.

You can probably rip that audio from files in Alien Colonial Marines since they used the original sound from Fox's archives... which are only one of few good things about that trainwreck of a game.
