MY ADDONS WILL NOT LOAD

I waited for about 15 minutes and my addons for workshop did not load
the only ones that did load are the ones i have from lfd maps
it just shows a 4 at addons and they dont load in-game

Do most or all the workshop add-ons only work in single player mode? I tried playing with some of them enabled in a private game online with a friend but the add-ons will not work, it just uses the default models.

theres a bug going on for to with garry's mod and left for dead

Everytime i get on l4d2 all my add ons basiclly re-download and dosent even work so at least i know its a problem to all of us

I have the same problem too, Gmod and Left 4 Dead 2, i found a way to get SOME of the addons: Go to your addons folder in your Left4Dead 2 folder and go in the workshop folder, then copy & paste them into yourAddons folder, then youl have some addons hopefully, Good Luck.

The workshop has problems now and then, sometimes it will re-download constantly, and sometimes it won't work at all. If you subscribe to a mod you really like, you can always copy out the vpks to your addons folder from the addons>workshop folder.

Some mods won't show up on servers; some servers enforce purity, which means that addons are disabled. This is to promote fairness in competitive play, iirc.
