I'm still using a 40$ Nvidia GT 520 graphics card, (not the best by far)
But I can run any game on medium-high..
Upgrading before anything is something you wont regret
Here is a benchmark review of the HD2000 vs HD3000 and other GFX cards:
http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/graphics/display/intel-hd-graphics-2000-3000_7.html#sect4
That is for left for dead 1 (which is less demanding than part 2 is), so if you get part 2 it is even going to be worse than those figures especially on that CPU, as the CPU used in taht benchmark was a Core i5 2400 and the Core i5 2400 is rated at 3.1GHz and clock for clock the i5 leaves your B950 for dead (pun intended, l4dead).
Remember those benchmarks are on low quaility, so you will top out at maybe 30-35 fps but when the game gets intense with mobs coming etc and fire you will be down the 15fps on avg and that is @ 1024x768 resolution.
Being a laptop you cannot upgrade the gfx card as far as i am aware, so yeh better of investing in a desktop and get a mid lvl gfx card and a quad core cpu atleast.
A laptop isn't a rig, you have to replace usually, not upgrade and you'd be talking 4 or 5 hundred bucks, not 40.
I'm poor man. xD I'm all for saving money when I can so, I think I'll hold off until I get a bit more cash.
