Sandbox Server
So I was thinking it would be cool if someone made a sandbox server mod, Ive seen 24 player servers and rpg servers thought it would be cool if that was coupled with some sort of big map people could ♥♥♥♥ around on and do different objectives, but alas I have no idea how this would be done.. so if you do please do it up cause that would killer :P

Sandbox and source engine do not mix well. Left 4 Dead 2 is made to be a linear corridor shooter for the most part. The game is simply not made to be a sandbox game, and there are community campaigns that have very large maps, but you can see why source engine is not very good when it comes to spawning and controlling AI dynamically out of a certain range. Even EYE had issues with this and that's about as sandbox as you could get.

Wouldn't really be up to the server so much as the map.
