Big Picture updates since I purchased the game play to get the above error.Help!

error code 55 means that there was an installation problem... its associated with the avast anti-virus, either disable the anti-virus or allow steam and the games from steam to pass through it, after that, verify the game cache files

edit : mcafee security scan is also known to cause this error for l4d2
