Workshop or L4DMaps

To me the Steam Workshop for L4D2 is pretty much useless. I have a wider variety of mods/add-on campaigns on L4DMaps and just feel like I know what I'm getting. Comment saying if you are a Workshop or L4DMaps user and what you think is worse or better or what you think about the two.

L4DMaps. User Stark Raven. (You know, with the Blind Skull.)
I go with L4DMaps because the community is much more focused, generally more mature, more selection, less stolen content, and the mod installation system is nearly faultless. One-time .vpk download, paste into addons folder, boom done. No need to worry about mods while offline or re-downloading every time you start the game.
I only have one mod from the Workshop, the rest of my 100+ mods come from L4DMaps and occasionally Gamebanana.

yes I agree just becareful which maps u dl freezer burn is a bad one I found out the hard way got invisible tanks, and other messed up stuff so got rid of it. I did get a few maps from workshop n have not had any probs

L4Dmaps, the workshop's good for noobs who can't install a .vpk in their own...

You can always delete the .vpk.

I personally won`t touch the workshop! l4dmaps.com is the most efficient way to get mods and maps!

I use both. Workshop is nice cause it updates automatically, but l4dmaps has more mods and definitely more maps.

i do think that L4dmaps has more campaigns and mods but however, if you download a mod/campaign from the workshop it updates automatically

So i choose both :)

I use both because workshop is easier to get stuff but l4d2maps has more content.

Workshop is ok, but L4dmaps is what I use the most. workshop really doesn't have enough to keep me entertained with it
