Installing to storage HDD (Secondary)

Anyone know how I can get this game installed onto my second HDD? It doesnt give me the option to choose which steam library I want to install it to

for some of the source games you cant becuase it uses some of the other files to save space

Just copy the entire steam directory to your secondary drive then launch steam from the new location and it should take care of everything for you. Thats how i did it before I had a solid state drive.

Can anyone verify if installating L4D2 to the main Steam library folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps) and just copy the L4D2 folder in my second Steam library (D:\Games\Steam Library\SteamApps)

That won't work because it's not a Steampipe game yet apparently. I don't get that because if isn't, then why is it in the common folder and not the user folder?

Anyway, wait for the next update to come out of beta which will allow you to install to different libraries, or use Steam Mover[www.traynier.com].
