Pretty sure it does. Any issues you run into should be easily resolved via google search. If all else fails, there's always the option to run in compatability mode.

if its compatible with Windows 7 (witch I have and it is) I am sure its compatible with windows 8 although it sucks

I got Win8. Can play, with no issue.

Windows 8 doesn't suck. It's super fast. And does the interface bother you? Hell, getting used to a desktop in the 90s and later doing without MS DOS and its command lines was confusing at first, but we all got over that.
