Votekick is always being abused. FIX IT FOR GOD SAKES.

I've been kicked out of over 100 GAMES for absolutly no good reason. Here are some reasons I've been kicked, and my response.
"You have numbers in your name" (I changed my name for that.) Stereotype!
"I need a friend to come on" Join another lobby ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥!
"You suck" I'm just trying to have fun you jackass.

The "You suck" one needs some description. Whenever I fail to get an instant kill charge, I get kicked. If I get jockey'd off a roof, I get kicked. If I die and it's my teammates fault they didn't do anything, I get kicked. If I fail to pour the last can on scavenge because we get overrun, I get kicked. I fail to shoot a charger before it only INCAPS my teammate, I get kicked.

I'm at my breaking point. To the point I might just upgrade my computer to where I can host my own local lobbies anytime just so I can't be kicked for no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reason. Valve/L4D2 devs, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ FIX the votekick and give it some balance. How about instead of leavin a vote to only 3 people, how about everyone in the game? Since it doesn't just affect the team I'm on, but the other as well.

Well vote kick was meant to be kill players for bad conduct , Valve can't do anything about this if players are using it to kick each other with no such reason.

You're kicked because a majority of people in your team don't want to play with you simple. How many time i should reapeat this ? These people are trying to have fun too so why they should be blocked in the same game as you if you're useless.

Welcome to the real world where not everyone is as nice as you.
Also you might get kicked for taking the last medkit, or a rare m60, being behind or ahead, accident teamwounding... some people start kicking right away...

Here's a solution of your problem: play 10v10 versus. Votekicks are rare on these servers.

Hi, I think some will kick you just because you only have around 100 hours!
Don't give up.
Play some more and when you find some friendly players add them. Have a look in the l4d2 workshop and try some of the training maps (hunter, smoker, jockey etc), they really help.
When all is said and done, this is a team game. Your team is only as good as your weakest player. If you listen to the advice of other players and try to follow it, you'll romp along.
You really should use a mic. Arrange an attack together with your team mates.
Lastly, all the maps have, many, 'pinch' points along the way (a narrow passage where the survivours have to pass). Save your special infected for those areas (but don't wait too long or you'll be kicked again : )

In my case, it's because people with numbers in their names have a name that's hard to pronounce which can lead to communication problems which would lead to me voting to kick if someone initiates it. This is a team-based game. If you're not playing ball, I have no problem voting to kick you.

I have unfairly kicked too. Each time I respawned I thought "Not the Charger - Please not the charger". :D

nothing you can do about it, dont waste your time arguing with these people. let them kick you join a new game and have your fun.
