Kicked for not knowing spanish

So yeah I got kicked for not being able to speak spanish on a versus game. Not that I was playing bad, I was actually doing better than my spanish speaking teammates. One of them asked if I spoke spanish in which I replied I did not then I got kicked along with a sarcastic sorry. I saw no reason for them to have kicked me and I was there when the game started and they only just filled the empty slots during midgame. I wish there could be a server for just them if people are just gonna be rude like that. Ok done ranting think I'll go find an all english american server now. :/

Well now, you look at the comments quoted above? some of us "Latinos". We are people who Have the sufficient maturity to laugh About these things, instead of getting angry.

however, remember, that as in your country, there are air heads sadly at this place of America there are also people with walnut brain, do not blame the Latino community a bad experience with retarded children, remember not many people think like you and me, some just prefer to be a ♥♥♥♥, like everything in this world.

Oh don't get me wrong I have nothing against latinos in fact some of my best friends are latinos, I'm just ranting because I wanted release some steam. I'm not trying to be ignorant but I find relief in looking at feedback from peoples opinions. I don't mean to offend anyone with my comments and if I did I'm really sorry. I do love playing L4D but when I encounter random hostility I address it. The world has enough negativity as it is. :P

in most cases, versus games rely on communication very heavily. therefore i can understand why you were kicked for not being able to speak or understand the common language majority of your team mates were using.

i recall voluntarily leaving a versus game at map 1 after realizing there were 2 thai and 1 tagalog speakers on my team. didn't see the need to complain on forums or even whine about it to anyone.

I would assume if he had the option checked to play in english he should expect to hear english. There is an option to play in spanish where i would assume he would be expected to speak spanish. But thats just me.

Sounds like you did see a reason, namely they wanting you to be able to speak Spanish?
Seriously, the kicking system in L4D2 doesn't really require a reason. You can be annoyed people kick you for not playing well enough, but they will. You can be annoyed people kick you for wanting to let another friend in, but they will. For wanting a Spanish-only game, but they will.
I'm sure more people have been kicked because they didn't speak English.
