Just incase the forum mod doesn't explain it, naming and shaming users on the public forums is forbidden. All threads like these get either deleted or edited and locked.

Generally posting on YouTube with evidence has worked well in the past, or within a steam group.

Generally hacking on an online game is against many rules, and they deserve to be shamed. Don't know why pointing out a hacker is against a rule, shows how good Valve is since they're too lazy to end this BS.

They are indeed rare, I've only encountered 3 in my ~3000hrs and shown a couple from other admins.

There has never been proof of an aimbotter in L4D2. While many other games have them, they are not here. They are called "good players".

I've played with a few aimbotters in l4d2 over my 1600hours. Seen maybe 5 of them during my all hours.
Most of them admitted it, and were instantly banned. The last ones that were quiet, were just being spectated in first person view mode, and then the proof were right there. Also banned.

So yeah, very few real cheaters in this game here.

While there's not nearly as many hackers / people using cheats in Left 4 Dead 2 as some people like to suggest, they do exist, just like in every other game.

I've seen 2 speedhackers, at least one blatant aimbotter and also a few guys using wallhacks / material hacks for sure. This in my +3,000 hours in this game.

As a matter of fact, anyone with internet access can download free material hacks easily. And these things are nothing but simple addons (.vpk) files... so they're not VAC detected.

And Valve doesn't give a ♥♥♥♥ about it either... sadly.
