When was the last time the game was on a free weekend? I'm an achievement hunter and i'm wondering if it's even still possible to get this achievement

im pretty sure the last free weekend was all the way back on 2013, so... yeah, it is pretty much impossible to get this achievement unless they suddendly decide to do a free weekend 4 years after the last one, such a bummer for achievement hunters :c

I got the game for free during the 2013 christmas thing, and it was a permanent unlock, maybe you can get the achievement that way? I remember someone told me they got the achievement for playing with me, though its been at least 2 years since I last played.

you can get this achievement at any time, not during free weekend.
simply you must play with someone who got the game for free, like with big lazy fox from two posts above. invite him to game ;-)

i am also interested on this achievement, but following the discussion it's not clear , is still possible to get the achievement by playing with someone which got the game for free or not ?

Good Guy Nick: "Only available during any period where the game is Free to Play, such as the Halloween season on Steam that ran through the last couple of weeks in October 2012, and the Independence Day season that lasted through the weekend of the Fourth of July in 2013.
