frequent crashes

around every hour or half the game crashes
sometimes it gives a new window where it collects info about it, other times it just dies and i have to kill it in task manager
out of the 4 hours i had around 5 crashes i think

searches only shows the usual stuff:
system requirements - i meet the recommended specs
update drivers - its updated
check integritiy - checked
turn off vsync - its always off for me
compatibility - using it on win 8 which was recommended after troubleshooting
antivirus stuff - i dont have 3rd party antivirus, steam and rage2 added to exceptions
administrator - its running in admin mode
game dvr - its off a long time ago
steam overlay - disabled
selective startup - disabled everything except windows apps


any real fix? any support to send that collected data when i get the error?

edited reply: disabling steam overlay didnt fix my problem, only the sending error crash, but the freezing game dying crash still remains, sometimes its after a few minutes, sometimes i can play for an hour
also, i read others experience the same, for example, there is a huge chance of crashing if you click on vehicle upgrades

Run the Game as Administrator. this fix the crashes for me.

i dont remember but based on my info on how far i have gone with trying to fix it, i would say no... just live with it and hope the game lasts a few hours
