Pursuit of Power 2 : The Chaos Dimension has been updated to version 2.2.3.1 on January 18th, 2025 with the following changes:

Improved experience when playing in a window, so that the dimensions always fit within the desktop space.
The F11 key will now toggle between full-screen and window modes.
Updated development toolset and support libraries (target Windows 10).

Version 2.2.3.0 released on June 26, 2024.

Updated renderer from DirectX 8 to DirectX 9
Improved terrain blending
Increased the size of trees that are alive
Game will now fade multiple entities around target to help with visibility with larger trees
Fixed a crash when max number of scenery covered the entire display area

Added a visual indicator for the timer used when summoning troops at a fortress (located under troop icons).
Added a visual indicator for the timer used when performing a leader action (located under leader abilities).
Fixed a bug where multiple blink effects could be active during the tutorial in certain situations.
Use a default resolution of 1920 x 1080 when the game settings are first created.
Updated version to 2.2.2.15.

After 10 years of work, Pursuit of Power 2 has finally been released on Steam! Thank you to everyone that has supported the development of this game :) I will be following-up soon with the planned updates.

Remaining work until release (Oct 26th)

Hello! I've been working hard to get Pursuit of Power 2 ready for release. I wanted to share the current progress and what's left to do. I also had to push the release back a bit in order to make sure I have enough time to polish the game prior to release. I don't plan to make any further changes to the release date, which is Oct 26th @ 9am PST . I'm currently working on the campaign boards, which I just roughed-out. There will be 12 total campaign boards and you can play them with any leader combin...
