why do the devs keep nerfing axes and reward people w/ aim

i hav pley many hour of game and i used to love it but why do they keep nerfing me axes and reward bow players? confuses me lots as i cant even win fights anymore.

Cuz bows require way more aim than axe and you can easily deflect arrows?
