So people will see when there isn't 60 fps or stable ping.
5 or 3 bars connection ? i don't care...
SFV wasn't released on Xbox (Sony exclusivity) and Sony didn't want crossplay with xbox.
But yeah PC - PS4 is a must have.
Consoles have more inputlag, is there something else ?

One funny thing I think was PS4 was too slow to process. Then PC became main tournament platform. I'm not sure if it was changed after PS4Pro.
In general consoles are very easy to use and so few issues than PC. Just plug and play and ready for game almost all the time.
But I think the input lag is huge advantage on PC. 1-2 frames (probably about 20-25ms?) delay difference is completely different feeling.
If dev implement cross-play, PC required to add delay to same as consoles. I prefer not happen, so I personally against cross play.
But if game is implemented as native on PS5 and Series X (not like PS4onPS5 mode), input delay may be improved. Personally I don't know.
PS4 SC6 input lag:

If i take a FPS game at 60 fps on a 60Hz monitor.
- Mouse is more accurate than controller
- If i run the game at 120fps on a 120Hz monitor, i win 16.67ms inputlag.
- If i have a fast monitor vs TV, i win around 15ms.
It's already unbalance and if i want to play with different hardware/devices, it's up to me.
Yes, am the only idiot that play PC FPS games with a controller on a 4K TV ^^
PC user would be OK and have benefits.
PS4 user is more likely not welcome for cross play with PC users.
Xbox users seems a bit different. It seems they don't like these fighting games. SC6 evaluation is Xbox store is around 2.2 out of 5.
I agree that SC6 Steam version is the best. But I think PC itself is not best gaming platform. It requires a lot of maintenance. So many issues like does not launch, audio issue, many lags from Windows notification, automatic update, virus scan, windows update, driver update, every week Steam client update, etc. There are not such a topic in PS/Xbox forum.
I'm actually tired about managing PC to be lag free to check each updates. But I wish SC6 on PC become more popular like Tekken. So I try to help issues when I can. I compiled some troubleshooting in guide too.
When I have 30 min to do rank match, usually I use console. Xbox is pretty good that part. With quick resume, about 15-20 sec from power on I can be in training mode with rank match waiting.
For practice, I think PC is better as fastest controller input. It seems easier to adjust myself to slower response on console or laggy matches. But if I get used to too much on slower console timing, it seems more difficult to adjust faster response on PC.
I think it is really good idea and more realistic than cross play.
Maybe we should request Namco for adding SC6 on Xbox PC.

Xbox Game Pass is included only Xbox console version and not PC version. SC6 is not even in MS Store.
But Xbox app on PC auto detects SC6 from Steam. I personally don't like the app behave that way without user's permission, but it does.
So I think it is half ready. If SC6 does not have exclusive contract with Steam, I think it could happen.
(Possible) MS Store (Game Pass) version has a lot of limitations. No user sharing. No mods, etc. So Steam version would be better,
