Difference between this and Vein?

Um, I've only played about 5 hours of the Demo for Vein so not sure all that one has to offer yet.

I'd say currently the zombies and maybe the vehicles are better in this one. Though they can be buggy in Multiplayer. BUT there is a mod that supposedly fixes them. But I play single player so no personal experience with it.

This has some interesting POI's with zombies that fit on theme on with the location and offer some fun and rewarding experiences. At least I thought so.

This one seems heavily focused on travelling around to loot basic materials to secure an existing structure and prepare to defend against a pending horde. The building mechanics for reinforcing windows and doors works pretty well and is fairly immersive.

Vein looks like it's taking the Survival stuff to a much higher level of detail than this game and I'm not sure I'd compare them other than they both have some similar themes and both are survival. But this one is more basic on the survival stuff compared to Vein.

Both games seem to offer a fair amount of configurable options to tweak things to ones preferences.

If interested more in fighting and defending against zombies, I'd prefer to play this one personally.

Not to say this one is perfect. It has it's own quirks and bugs and glitches. But was well worth the cost for myself. I've put 50 hours in and will likely put at least that again.

With it's current sale price I'd say it's worth just picking up and checking it out and deciding for yourself.

I am very keen to see how Vein develops too though. I think I'm just waiting to see what they do with the zombies in it as right now they feel a bit too place holder to gauge what it might be like and I'm not a fan of how they spawn in around the player.

Very much looking for a zombie game where I can clear an area and have it stay cleared, unless other zombies wander in.

This one doesn't completely allow that. But you can stop them from respawining within a play session. BUT they will still all respawn the next time you load into the world. So as long as you don't quit the game in the middle of clearing an area you can clear places and they stay cleared in this one.

Vein is still actively being worked on, has had many updates within the last year, and so far I have not seen any invisible zombies in Vein.. [yes that was a pun]

Guys I can tell you that VEIN has NPC survivors in their RoadMap where STN has said there will be no NPC survivors. So to me that is a huge difference between the games. I own both and I have few hours in this, seems to have nothing that the other dozen games like it do not have.
Market is flooded with Zombie games so too many to choose.

The end of the day FACT is VEIN is as good or better than this game. Trash talking games without a shred of fact is called Slander. In the US there are severe consequences.
