If I enjoy playing 7DTD should I purchase this game?
This game has been out since 2017, about 4 years and reviews are mixed at best.

Are you enjoying this game if playing single player? Should I purchase while it's on sale?

Good for a while, but pretty content starved

OK thanks, is loot random does it change up with new game? Are there old city towns to explore? Games been out since 2017, assumed there would be content.
The loot is random and there are city's and towns to explore have a look at the map its big it takes day's to go from one side to the other in a car.

Yes, I only play single player. The problem with the game right now is that there is a lack of content compared to 7DTD. You will find it enjoyable for the first 20 hrs or so and then you will have seen everything. The map is actually quite small, it's just that the roads are very windy making it take longer to get around the map. There are not enought POI's in the game yet. Nowhere near what is in 7DTD. It's really starting to come along but it really needs a serious content injection.

Thanks for responding, the forums here seems pretty dead. I didn't see any updates coming up on content but visuals. I got this cheap, I guess I'll keep it and forget about it for now, it looks like fun from youtube player showing game play.

Hopefully 7DTD will release an update 20 update this year.
No problem. You will enjoy it, at least I have and I really enjoy 7DTD. Like I said, it's just short on content right now. They are focusing on a huge graphical overhaul which you can test out on the Experimental server.

The next few updates will focus on early game mechanics and getting a good polish on everything. After that, we'll go back to adding content. That's not to say that new content won't be peppered in with the QoL updates.
