Then why doesn't the game give it to you automatically? Why does the game block them off from the player being able to use them? What good reason is there for that?
I didn't know about this missing stuff until I happened to find this thread by happenstance.
The vast majority of CS players probably have no idea that their game is missing content.
I don't care about the Shining Pom baits, but the other stuff being missing/blocked off is a big deal.
Stuff gets dummied out. Maybe they run out of time to polish things, or they look buggy. That might be the case with the uniforms.
Faceplates are really not important.
Shining Pom Bait is unnecessary.
Probably some of the other bonuses are unnecessary as well because the game is already easy as hell.
Some of that stuff is licensed and might be difficult to sell outside Japan.
It will be unfair to those who buy Famitsu/Dengeki or some stuff from Lawson just to get DLC, when people outside Japan automatically get those for free. Selling those as DLC already out of question.
I have no idea what that post is saying because I don't have the background knowledge to know what you are talking about, and the guide for these games strangely omits the information that explains these things.
Where can I read a comprehensive explanation of the stuff you are talking about?
There's no way they can possibly be more buggy than the uniforms that are already in the game. They have legions of clipping bugs, i.e. Olivert's chin clips through the collar of his coat; many of the characters' hair clips through various parts of their clothes; if you have bunny ears equipped as another character strokes your head, then their hand clips right through the bunny ears, etc. etc.
This post explains a few things. If you're not finding much information, most of us likely aren't in Japan or particularly famliar with promotions by Japanese retailers.

They had their chance to get it 'first' by buying those mags, it's past time everyone else had access to them.
