A surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one !
Wonderful, hope the game is in a finished state this year
Hm, seems all very nice, but :

- i felt medikit already not too good, so extra weight won’t make them better.
- you’ve added more time pressure on some missions, reducing timers, while players mostly said they didn’t like that
- making "tubes mission" a "kill all mission" is a huge change, as previously it was possible to sneak and save humans, without too much fighting
Hate timed missions
>Abduction missions no longer end immediately when the abduction tubes disappear; the mission will now continue until all alien forces are eliminated (effectively these are now deathmatch missions with a time-limited optional objective). This change was made because many players reported that the abrupt ending of the mission in previous versions could feel quite jarring.

Please revert this change, the end result is less mission variety and that stinks!

>Reduced the speed at which soldiers gain combat experience to about 60% of the previous level.
>The training speed of the Training Room has been halved (both the starting value and the gain from completing Interrogation projects).

A 40% reduction for real (earned) experience? 40%?! Terrible! How will I train my rookies up past useless dolts now if you're also slashing the rates in the training room? Please consider being more lenient.
"Civilians are now much less suicidal"

A Blessing from The Lord!
Wow,
didnt expect such a big update. THIS is the best XCOM "base" all time, i played every XCOM-like game since 25 years with mods.
Thank you very much, engine / ui / gameplay increase/ upadte to xenonauts 1 is incredible.
Bigger ufos, fusion weapons, act 3, cant wait for it.
Ai Changes look nice, harder(train, missions) is always weclome and xcom :-) But i like that training really matters.
Last war and all other great artists in xcom community pls guys, use this amazing piece of art when workshop is ready and give us content for years with this great base.
Wow, so amazing. Get it on guys!! :interceptor:
Dev, great update! Can we have the weight of the grenades reduced? Or not make them weight the same as the demolition charge?
Thanks for the big update. Time to start a new playthrough.
AWESOME
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
I LOVE THIS GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAME
""or we may add in a system where the reduced sale prices of items will increase over time (giving players an incentive not to always sell their junk immediately).""

Never punish your players for making the economy or loot so bad they have to spam selling 'junk' in the first place either for income, to free up space, or any other problems throwing a dumpster of 'junk' at the player as a significant part of the loot process causes in gaming.

Even if you are worried about "too easy", that would still be just making the same problem but with more dev work on top, if you add more hoops instead of remove them on your junk problem.

Waiting for someone to be done with the bottle recycling machine to get your deposits back isn't challenging in real life, after all. Why would it be a challenge to have to wait an extra week to empty your war dumpster? Imagine being the poor staff member stuck with coding 'wait in line harder' instead of 'cool alien guns' as part of their X-Com dream project.
This was really funny to find in Milestone 2... acording to the bugfixes this is history! Nice! Let's hunt new bugs!

The aliens are using all tactics now, like move as suicidal runners to pass my shield guy and shoot him from behind. :steamsad:

I'll wait a little more before back to this game...

Nice! I was always like "They are so stupid trying to shoot the guy with a shield from front... why do they not go around and stab him in back?"... and now the challenge starts! They now opens doors with a human behind the them too... really nice additions to their inteligence.
