In the meantime, please note that there is are currently 2 camera modes: Orbit Cam and Traditional Cam. You can toggle this in Settings. The Orbit Cam lets you click and drag the mouse to view from different angles (or use the right stick on a controller). The Traditional Cam lets you quickly snap to any view on a horizontal plane. These controls are polished up a bit for the v1.0 launch as well.
I am always a fan of more camera options. Perspective has such a strong impact on the way a game is experienced. After all, it is the way we are able to see into and properly interact with virtual space.
The same game can feel COMPLETELY different just due to a simple camera angle switch, or minor changes in how the camera behaves/follows/FOV/centering/etc.
I find that so interesting and look forward to seeing improvements not only with the camera but everything else your 1.o Launch has in store!
Best of luck and thanks!
