First off, this game is AMAZING. I love the art style and the physics!
One thing I do not like is that an enemy in a different room can hear me knife someone? Then whats the point of even using the knife? Really good game though for the price of 9.99.

The knife sound isn't as loud as a gun shot, so enemies can't hear it that far.
So you can use it when you don't want to attract too many enemies.
Otherwise, the knife is helpful if you run out of ammo and the next weapon is too far away.

I personally think a knife should be silent, so if you want to do things stealthy. Also enemies tend to shoot around corners when i'm not even showing.

Enemies shoot only when they see you. You have to keep in mind that the game is 3D, maybe you need to get used to the perspective camera.

Wall corners can also be destroyed.
