Good luck on the launch week and be sure to credit the artist big time in this week.
PS. Who is the artist? Have they worked on other games or have an art page?
In total four artists worked to make Sundered:
Art Director: Jo-Annie Gauthier
2D Artist: Marie-Christine Lévesque
Lead Animator: Alexandre Boyer
Animator: Simon Nakauchi Pelletier
This game was made in Québec?
Si c'est le cas j hésiterai pas à l acheter pour encourager l économie locale ;)
Montréal!
Sundered just might dethrone Hollow Knight though :)
Hollow Knight is great is gameplay but has alot of flaws of it's own that people don't want to admit, which is why I believe that something will probably come out and dethrone it as my goty. Still, with that said, not many Metroidvanias interest me and Hollow Knight was really the first one to grab my attention in years and it's still my personal favorite of the year (so far).
I pre-purchased Sundered because the story/lore of it seems much more interesting than Hollow Knight, anything with lovecraftian stuff grabs me. On the subject of animations, the fluidity of Sundered's animations from what I've seen looks much more smoother than Hollow Knight's animations from what I can tell.
