If reinstalling the game doesn't help, there may be an issue with your game settings. Sometimes people become unable to run the game after changing their graphics settings to something incompatible with their computer -- but since they now can't run the game, their settings can't easily be changed back. Here is how to wipe the currently-saved system settings and start back up with the defaults:
1. Restart Steam into Offline mode. (On Steam's menu bar: 'Steam' > 'Go Offline'.) This is to ensure the bad settings don't get pulled back down from the cloud.
2. In your Documents folder there should be a folder called Guacamelee2. Inside that you'll find LOCALSETTINGS.DAT. Drag this file to your desktop or anywhere else, so the game can't find it.
3. Try running the game (with Steam still in offline mode).
4. If the game starts up successfully, open up the Options menu then hit OK. You should see a new LOCALSETTINGS.DAT appear in the Documents/Guacamelee2 folder. This should now replace the old settings when you go back online.
Let me know if this does/does not work. If it doesn't work, you can contact support@drinkbox.com and share your specs and any additional details about the crash.
