Wie bekommt man die Uncut Version?

Da dieser Thread jeglichen Rahmen sprengt und sich die Fragen der User immer wieder wiederholen, möchte ich die erarbeiteten Erkenntnisse zwecks Übersichtlichkeit so gut es geht zusammenfassen. An dieser Stelle noch einmal ein Dankeschön an alle, die sich mit ihrem fundierten Wissen eingebracht und zur allgemeinen Aufklärung beigetragen haben.

Hinweis: Ich fasse hier lediglich die Erkenntnisse der User zusammen, wovon einige jedoch auf Vermutungen beruhen, welche Anhand Analogien anderer Sachverhalte in der Vergangenheit abgeleitet wurden. Sollte ich etwas falsch beschreiben, bitte ich um entsprechendes Feedback, sodass ich dies abändern kann. Wer sich tiefer mit der Materie auseinander setzen will, der sollte den Thread genauer studieren, dies ist nur eine grobe Zusammenfassung der aktuellen Sachlage.


Wie kann ich Dying Light 2 uncut in Deutschland spielen?

Giften aus einem EU-Land:

Der aktuell wohl sicherste Weg Dl2 uncut zu bekommen, scheint das Giften aus einem weiteren EU-Land(!) zu sein, beispielsweise Österreich. Dies macht dahingehend auch Sinn, weil ihr so die deutsche Sprachausgabe bekommt. Solltet ihr darauf keinen Wert legen, wäre auch jedes andere EU-Land problemlos möglich. Hier bitte beachten, es MUSS ein EU-Land sein. Und nein, die Schweiz oder USA gehören einfach nicht zur EU ;). Einige User haben zudem berichtet, dass es auch diverse Keyseller gibt, die das Spiel als Gift anbieten. Wie dieses Prozedere genau das funktioniert und was man beachten muss, wird hier im Thread im Detail erklärt.


Aktivierung der PEGI / Global / ROW Keys via Steam:

UPDATE: Mittlerweile hat ein Techland-Mitarbeiter bestätigt, dass es für Deutschland keinen Region-Lock geben wird. Somit solltet ihr, wie eh schon zuvor vermutet, ohne Probleme die AT Pegi oder Global Keys aktivieren können. Auch wenn diverse Keyseller das Gegenteil behaupten, lasst euch davon nicht verunsichern! Man kann sehr wahrscheinlich davon ausgehen, dass diese Info nur zur Absicherung dient.


Wie kann ich prüfen, welche Version von Dying Light 2 sich in meiner Steam-Bibliothek befindet?

Egal wie ihr das Spiel bezogen habt, mit dieser Methode könnt ihr vorab prüfen, um welche Version es sich handelt. Hierzu schreibt ein User folgendes:


"Ich beziehe mich hier auf meine Uncut Ultimate. Entsprechend musst du deine ID heraussuchen für die Version, die du gekauft hast.

- WINDOWS + R Taste
- steam://open/console
- Im neuen Console-Tab UNTEN folgendes eingeben
licenses_for_app 534380
- Die Package-ID überprüfen. Bei der Ultimate sollte nun sowas stehen: License packageID 534166 "

Bekomme ich alle DLCs, wenn ich die Uncut-Version bereits besitze und bleibe diese dann auch ungeschnitten?

Das ist aktuell reine Spekulation. Viele Spieler befürchten, dass sich nach dem Kauf eines DLCs über die deutsche Steam-Seite ihre uncut Fassung automatisch in die geschnittene Version umwandelt. Da Techland jedoch hier im Thread bereits bestätigt hat, dass eine Anpassung der Version bzw. der Spieldateien nicht stattfindet, kann man davon ausgehen, dass hier nichts zu befürchten ist. Ob ihr die DLCS jedoch überhaupt offiziell über Steam beziehen könnt, das weiß aktuell niemand. Eine Denkbare Alternative wäre hier auch, die Methodik aus den oberen Punkten anzuwenden, heißt also, ihr lässt euch die DLCs giften, oder kauft sie, sofern möglich, über entsprechende Keyseller. Aber auch hier weiß niemand, ob diese überhaupt separat angeboten werden.

Wie man sieht, vieles beruht auf reiner Spekulation und Vermutungen. Um hier zuverlässige Aussagen tätigen zu können, müssen wir, wohl oder übel, den finalen Release von Dying Light 2 abwarten.

Thank you for the information. Do you have any news regarding the activation of gamekeys in Germany as many people will order a physical copy. I know that Gamesplanet already asked this but maybe you could bring some light into this.
Regarding SteamDB keys are still regionlocked atm.

So we won‘t need to have a vpn to be able to activate a different version(PEGI) in germany as well?

Vpn wird wohl noch sei müssen. Ich habe zur Sicherheit einen 2. Account per vpn auf Österreich gemacht. Shop Region ssteht dann Österreich da, da ich noch nichts mit dem Account gekauft habe. Wenn das klappt wird das über Family Share auf meinen Hauptaccount verbunden.

Nimm nen Flug nach Österreich, stell deinen Account um auf Österreich und der Hickhack bleibt dir permanent erspart, ohne vpn.

Another question is what about Dying Light 1? When you guys will talk to the Bzkj in order to get DL 1 from the Index? How long must we wait?

Die wissen doch selbst, dass man wegen Vpn auf Steam gebannt werden kann, also werden die Keys wohl auch ohne vpn aktivierbar sein, die wollen doch selbst nicht, dass ihre Käufer gebannt werden.

Here's to hoping that we get further clarification on whether this applies to keys or not. Because I'm not about to physically travel to another country to get a game.

Also that doesn't help with the geolock issue for co-op. If I were able to activate one of those keys, and a friend buys the game on steam because they couldn't be bothered to use external sites, I assume we just wouldn't be able to play together...

So unless a dev / official of Techland states clearly that activating a WW / EU key will be possible, I'll just buy it here and most likely make the game uncut via a mod or the changing of a few lines.

Sieht mir nach einer low-effort Antwort aus, aber das wurde mir ebend geschrieben. Werde wohl einfach auf pre-order bonis verzichten und am Release-Tag schauen, ob andere es aktivieren können oder nicht, und woher sie die Keys haben.

Auf MMOGA hättest du sehr wahrscheinlich eh kein Pre Order Bonus erhalten, falls ich mich irre (könnt ihr mich gerne korrigieren)
