My dude, you still don't understand anti-consumer practices just like you don't understand privacy. I'm not here to educate you. You're not paying me for that.
oh now you've moved the goal post. GG lol
Just because you don't understand what you read does not mean I'm moving goal posts. Feel free to point out what goal post I have moved if you'd like. I'll wait.
I find it on IG for 42 tho im not sure how pre-order in those sites work.
You're taking a mighty long time pointing out what goal post I moved. :Whistles:
what privacy do you think you have? Even with a vpn, which i use.. the government or law enforcement can still back trace your IP FROM your VPN host to your ISP. There is no getting away with anything on the internet. If you use a dns instead of your ISP dns, whomever runs your DNS like cloudfare can still view the websites you visit and or give information to law enforcement when asked. That profile you think is private has cookies and information that is logged on steam servers and shared with analytics and advertising agencies, some cookies you cannot decline or steam will stop working. Please tell me again what I don't know about how privacy works. It is always good to give people less information as possible, and I don't care that your profile is private. It's the fact that you snoop on other people's profile while yours is locked, it's just down right pathetic tactic. Good luck hiding all the mature video games you have downloaded lol. There is literally nothing I have to hide on my profile and nobody should, that is why it's unlocked to begin with. Keep trying lmao
It differs from game to game and site to site. Sometimes you'll get the key early enough for preorder bonuses/preload (typically, this has been my experience, but I usually order from G.MG when I go with a key site) and sometimes you won't. You definitely won't get keys more than a day early from most sites.
My dude, striving for an all or nothing solution is a pointless endeavor. People that work in the information business love "open book" types.
There's zero reason for a consumer to want this in their game. There is absolutely no benefit to the end user.
Don't put things on your profile you don't want people to know, it's really that simple, you are already giving away more information than your profile ever did by actively posted on steam forums like an open book. I imagine with all you games and movies you pirate you probably have a back door on one of your devices already keylogging everything you do. You don't know the first thing about privacy or security lmao.
You're joking, right?
My dude, you're telling me I don't know about privacy while also being extremely upset that I have a private profile and that I've utilized publicly available information. Yes, I publicly choose to post on public forums.
That's my choice. I also choose to have a private profile. That's also my choice. I get it, you don't value your privacy as much, but that's your problem. Your anger is misplaced.
