Wow after looking at the difference it totally turned me off the game. Why can't I buy the steam game and be able to farm oranges and use the wheeled loader. I don't think this is the best way to grow their steam audience. Thanks for your help.

I bet Steam would get concerned if we all asked for a refund and left as a reason the devs were holding part of the game ransom unless you buy it elsewhere.

When you buy from Gemly, you get a Steam key anyway, so I don't see it being much of an issue.

It is the principle of it, why would I use my credit card instead of simply using my steam wallet when I shouldn't have to. Also what is the point in ciphening members from steam?

Does seem strange to offer what is essentialy pre purchase bonus material as an exclussive only deal if bought directly from their website because the pc version is only able to run through the steam platform anyway with a steam key ,

If like GIANTS the game was playable outside of steam then i could understand why the devs chose this tactic but now it just screems that the public is being punished for buying through the platform the game plays on because steam charges 30% commission on sales which reduces their net profits slighly , Maybe its going to be a pay to play game after all which is just shady business and im loosing intrest in this game very fast now unfortunatly

That is exactly what I did. I first purchased the game on Steam and when I learned of the Gemly version which gives me a Steam key anyway, I asked for a refund from Steam and I explained why, which they granted, and then I purchased it from Gemly.

I did they same here and i got more for my money and about 3 dollars cheaper. And you get a steam key and all updates will be thru Steam. CnC crops is doing the same thing. I bought it
from them from there websight about 8 month ago and when CnC put it on stem CnC gave me a steam key and all updates come from steam site

They may be trying to bypass steam's tax, but still getting the steam's publicity.

Wait Wait so i'm paying same price of the steam on the game on they website and geting more contenct ? Devs fix this I Pre ordered deluxe edition on steam and won't get half of stuff this is b****sh***t

I bought steam too not knowing this. Am actually thinking of getting refund and not playing at all. This sorta tactic sounds shady by the devs

Yep, I just hope the devs realize their mistake and correct it before they lose a relatively large part of their potential community. And no doubt it is shady, bypassing steam's tax.
