Hey Vince, I can't post on the ITS forum atm for some reason (DDos?), but my mouse keeps drifting across the screen in Dungeon Rats.

I've tried unchecking [Enhance Pointer Precision], restarting, changing mouse pads, using the laptop's touchpad instead (normally disabled with mouse plugged in) using a different mouse, but it's still happening! This doesn't happen in AoD!

What exactly is the problem? Just the warning message that appears or real ingame issues?

Does it offer to send a crash report after this?

DR is using exactly same engine as AoD, so the difference must be only in preferences. Can you try copying prefs.cs file from Documents/My Games/Age of Decadence/ to Documents/My Games/Dungeon Rats/ ?

@Flashback

Just employed some more powerful Google-Fu, used console command lockmouse(0) and everything is fine now.

Cool, but this will last for one game session only. If you want to unlock mouse cursor permanently, add this line to the end of prefs.cs:

$pref::Input::ForcedMouseLock = 2;

Can you take a screenshot of the issue and post your Radeon driver version? Also, does changing lighting quality help?

Yes, i set lighting quality to the highest(was lowest) and it helped! Can't take a screenshot - steamoverlay doesn't work with that game and when i try to printscreen it just shoots my dekstop
driver version 16.9.2

It does, and I've sent one. Tried changing only certain options, but no matter what it seem to crash when apply is pressed.

That's a weird one. This is the same engine as Age of Decadence, but there haven't been a crash of that kind in years, I'm looking at it.

While I'm at it, can you go to your Documents/My Games/Dungeon Rats, open prefs.cs and find this line:

$pref::Video::mode = "1024 768 false 32 60 0";

First two numbers stand for resolution, the third one for fullscreen mode (false = off, true = on). Can you try changing these settings manually and launching the game?

Yeah, it works as far as resolution is concerned. Changing anything else in the options from the game still crashes it though.

Oh, it does read it correctly, but the engine doesn't allow windowed game to be equal to desktop resolution or higher. You may want to try borderless window mode:

$pref::Video::mode = "1920 1080 false 32 60 1";
$pref::Video::windowBorder = 0;
btw steam overlay doesn't work and i can't get achievments :(

Just launched, Steam overlay is definitely there for me, both in 32-bit and 64-bit versions. Do you launch it in some specific way?
