We support keyboard/mouse and all controllers. We are currently working on key bindings and it's a feature that should be added shortly after launch. :)
Thanks for the question!

We do use the keyboard for movement, our game's mechanics for movement and spellcasting wouldn't work using the D3 movement method. But we assure you this has been tested extensively and it plays really well! :)
Hope this answers your question!

This is an action/adventure game, so the hack and slash method couldn't work with our aiming system for spells. We've got industry vets who've worked really hard on the controls so they feel as responsive as possible! :)
When I'm trying to move her, I want to (for instance) keep going straight down the path by pressing W, not constantly mess with SD because the path leads to the bottom right of the screen.
Chris, is there any chance this could be made an option?
@greg, gota say, im the opposite on that movment style
when i push up i expect to jump or move up the screen
ive played a few games w/ real squirrly character facing
and it sucks big trying to interact with things expecially if the interact tollerance is stingy
or theres no autoface cycling
but if thats what make it work for you, i hope things work out
The optimisation of the Keyboard/Mouse controls will be one of our priorities these next days/weeks! All your comments and suggestions are very appreciated!

It's horrible, it's unintuitive and, for a game that seems to require relatively precise control, it's extremely inexact.
I think M/K players would be far better off with an option that "W" means "straight towards the mouse", "S" means "straight away from the mouse" and "A" and "D" were left and right strafe alternately. This would be a significantly more accurate control scheme than the current one, and I'm going to put this game on hold (with a negative review) until something more reasonable is implemented.
That sounds like an interesting control scheme. Would there be particular examples in existing games that you would like to share?
I believe the current WASD movement system is a remnant of the since-removed WASD casting system for particular spells. There was some outcry that WASD casting was unintuitive, so it was replaced with the strict mouse-casting today.
Honestly, it's not an original idea by any stretch of the imagination. It's taken straight from the top-down (and isometric) shooter genre (and similar such games). I didn't come up with it at all.
That's one of the reasons this control scheme so annoyed me and why I disbelieve their assertions that "extensive testing" was done.
Anybody with an ounce of industry knowledge would have known that their current scheme (which I think is designed the way it is for easy console porting) is rubbish for M/K, especially since there are several vastly superior control schemes already out there which they could have used.
