Too much fertilizer and not enough explosives?

I'm using tier 4 explosives production method and tier 1 fertilizer production method in my chemicalfactories. However, I need to build even more chemiefactories to keep up with the demand for explosives, while my fertilizer prices are decreaasing to almost nothing.
Is this the case because I'm an industrial powerhouse? Can my chemicalfactories survive on the earning they make with explosives in the long run?

Your factory can survive on explosives but wont make as much money. Either increase the use of fertiliser or export it to boost your profits.
