Upgrading buildings

I don't have the signs allowing me to upgrade the starter home and other buildings. Was this removed with the latest update?
Also, I made a sword but it has disappeared. Isn't it supposed to appear in my weapons rack once I forge one?

There are no upgrades available right now for buildings, we are just going to make them all spawn fully upgraded for now until we get that back in.

With the sword, it disappeared immediately after being built?

No, I was able to put in on my "belt", then quit the game. When I came back it was gone. Thanks for the info about the buildings. This is the kind of game I've wanted for a year. Glad to support and participate in testing and feedback.

Will do both. First I'm going to try to duplicate the sword issue. I'm a noob so I may have not quit properly or something. I can't find much documentation on how to play, so I'm just winging it. I thought I read that once you forge a weapon it will appear on your rack in infiinte supply?
