So about Reshade or SweetFX
Anyone found a decent preset to use? I tried one on reshade 3 but the damn thing doesn't seem to want to use the preset, even after putting in the name of the preset in the configuration..

It wouldn't hurt to make guide on steam:
http://steamcommunity.com/app/524220/guides/

Just a suggestion.

That looks great! would 100% use that if you upload your preset....not sure about uploading though, never actually done that :/ would be cool if steam had some sort of integrated solution for reshade presets

You can upload your preset here:
https://sfx.thelazy.net/games/game/1605/
This is the most common website for Sweetfx and ReShade presets.
But you have to create an account.

I set reshade 3 up and made my own but ended up disabling it because for some reason it was causing a constant kb+mouse input meaning the control prompts were swapping to kb+m prompts which was annoying when playing with a controller.

But how do you install the preset? the online videos and tutorials seem outdated :/

This one is decent imo but I wonder how it holds up in other areas -

It also shows how effective MXAO can be at least.

To each their own. My preset is very resource demanding, but if you have the extra gpu power to handle it, in my opinion it completely changes the picture quality for the better and it adds a realistic sunlight effect wich fits the game perfectly.

Reshade's MXAO option and the in-game Ambient Occlusion option both give shadow artifacting. It becomes a nuisance especially when the picture is in motion. For that reason I have those disabled and instead opted to go with Nvidia Inspector's High Quality AO option -yes, it does work.

To the topic in hand, I tried to sign up for the SweetFX website to upload my preset there, but alas, it never sends me the confirmation email to activate my login... (;_;)

Download

Version 3.0.6 was released on January 1st 2017.

Use preset files (*.ini) that can be created from ReShade's in-game user interface to share your configurations.
ReShade loads all presets placed in the game directory automatically (both *.ini and *.txt).
Do NOT share the binaries or shader files. Link users to this website instead.

Guide for newcomers | Quick start: Run setup tool > Follow instructions > Close setup tool > Start game > ... > Profit

I think this is self-explanatory.

DG, your preset looks good. If you can't upload it on sfx.thelazy, you could still upload the entire thing (preset + ReShade 3) on hosting websites like Mega, and share with us! Would be glad to use it! :)

BTW did anyone manage to run both RadeonPro and ReShade3 together?

For some reason it doesn't work for me.

That will only work with a proper flag, you're mistaken.

I am using the default flags for both AO and AA. If you pay close attention you will see that the AO although subtle, does work. More noticeable on 2Bs feet and wall edges -not so much on vegetation. Other flags however reduce performance too much. At the moment I have not found a dedicated flag bit, for now default does the job.

On anti aliasing however, there is a considerable improvement. Try out the settings below and see for yourself -

In-game AA set to 8
Inspector Settings as follows:
AA Combined (Mode + Setting) -Enhance | 8x MSAA
AA Mode -Enhance the Application
AA Setting -8xQ [8x Multisampling]
AA Transparency Multisampling -Enabled
AA Transparency Supersampling -8x Supersampling

Also make sure to force 16x Anisotropic filtering with Inspector as well.

Thanks to Steam user "chaza2", we were able to make the Preset public and ready for download. If you want to give it a try find it here:

But the question is, after downloading the reshade, why can't I load the preset, whenever I do put in the file name on the reshade menu during the game it still won't show any visual changes, even when I activate it, am I missing something?
