FAR is literally malware and Kaldaien is blacklisting SteamIDs
First and foremost, here is a link to the FAR fix without the malicious code

Steam Moderators, approach me if you're concerned about this thread, this is setting a dangerous precedent

Dictionary definition of malware
software that is intended to damage or disable computers and computer systems.

Even if you want to argue this isn't malware, it's weaponizing Steam's API to harm users of a certain SteamID (generally people he disagrees with)

Can FAR stop being stickied? I don't think this is the sort of thing Steam or Square Enix should be supporting. The builds he provides are targeting users.

There are also claims with proof he blacklists SteamIDs of people he dislikes / gets arguments, he even ADMIT it.

Let's say I pirated the game to try it out asked him if he could get his mod working on pirated versions, he tells me no and to ♥♥♥♥ off, fine that's fair, but now he blacklists my SteamID so if I were to purchase the game to support the developers and use his mod, I wouldn't be able to use the mod.

Lookup the proof yourself, he should be BANNED from making any mods ever again if the claims of him deleting HDDs are true. You're just a fanboy and no matter what proof you're given, you'll always side with him. You know, I don't respect these developers whatsoever, therefore I will NEVER buy this game, They don't value PC gamers and they have us a trash experience, infact I support this guy more for trying to give paying customers a better experience, however, there's a difference between being novel and trying to get people to support the developers and this guy, who goes to the extremes and gets to the point where he's malicious.

No, let's not say this, because that's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥t.

Kaldaien's response

The comments in the code explain precisely why two individuals are blacklisted. If you're being an obstacle to my ability to offer support to end-users, that's how you get blacklisted. Go spam one of my threads with 100 posts in a row while I'm trying to help someone. Now your SteamID is going to be added to the list of two people.

Just because I don't like you doesn't mean your Steam ID goes there. You can continue to spread lies about this stuff all you want, as long as I can still help other members of the community while you're doing this, I really don't care.

His post on the 11th page https://steamcommunity.com/app/524220/discussions/0/1327844097125877878/?ctp=11

And he refuses to remove his "anti-piracy" measures that damage the end-user's experience even if Denuvo stops working for whatever reason meaning paying customers that resort to bypasses (as legitimate customers always end up having to do when developers abandon their games with DRM that no longer works anymore), we'll be harmed too.

Originally posted by Kaldaien:

It doesn't have to be cracked. The source code is readily available. If you want to use it to do illegal things, feel free to modify it yourself. I won't be distributing versions that allow it and that's the minimalist approach to anti-piracy.

I don't think pirates are very intelligent going by the stupid stuff they plaster all over Reddit, but I don't think they should be punished. They can go do whatever the @#$% they want with the game, but I won't support them in any way shape or form. They can get support from whoever maintains the piracy-friendly branch of my software.

You're not addressing the fact that if and when Denuvo's auth servers go down, we'll be using the bypass too. Will you pledge to remove your "anti-piracy" modifications when that day comes? Because as of right now, you're set out to punish legitimate customers too.
Originally posted by Kaldaien:
No, I will not. If the software reaches end-of-life like that, I don't intend to continue supporting it and neither should you. Don't buy software from publishers that abandon their software.

Here's the lines of code that are a cause for concern. He did similar things with his Tales of Berseria "fix". Google it.

Edit: Now he's attacking Steam's moderation in a private group
The whole post.

I was banned for calling someone who was defaming me a "pirate moron." Of all the ludicrous things, that is not even one-tenth as insulting as the comments directed at me. I wouldn't be so bitter if moderators held these people to the same standards, but it just isn't the case -- I have to sit there and take whatever is thrown at me.

The volume of insults thrown at me is enough to make your head spin, but I don't see a single one of those people being banned. They're actively promoting piracy no less, which is a forum violation. I think almost as little of Steam moderators at this point as I do pirates.

He's already banned. I just don't think Steam should allow third party fixes to target users based on their SteamIDs.

And now I'm probably a target because I'm speaking out against him.

You're really butchering threads-worth of posts in your OP here, and it's not even clear what Kaldaien said amongst your random ad-hoc mash of posts from multiple users, and it's not clear why those posts matter in context to Kaldaien or why you think FAR should be unpinned.

I believe online mob justice iike yours is also not acceptable. Witch hunt everyone vs everyone, not a good idea.

I linked to his posts. You can see him admitting to blacklisting users.

His ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥t is well documented, it's all over Reddit/various imageboards right now and if Steam Moderators want to get involved, add me and we can discuss this in private but this is a very dangeorus precedent to use SteamIDs in such a malicious way.

nevermind i looked into for more than 2 minutes, and its pretty clear this is a reddit mob out to lynch someone, and succeeded by filing many false flag reports o n the guy's profile.

Go look at his posts. He is using SteamIDs in a malicious way and he refuses to remove this stuff in the event of a Denuvo shutdown meaning legitimate users will be targeted at that point.

No one is forcing you to use his fix, he can do whatever he wants. Next thing you're gonna tell me that you dont like that he wipes his butt with his left.

I'm pretty sure Kaldaien was banned for a reason, but I am also pretty sure this thread is a poorly formatted, dishonest hit piece.

Is the reddit mob the reason why the mod that personally banned him and implied that he was temporarly banned for being an♥♥♥♥♥

thats a third party software , unless hosted on steam, isnt held to steam eula, crying about it here has 0 weight. pretty clearly its a lynch mob trying to ruin this guy, like mob mentality, but worse, because you're all just bandwagoning the mob mentality from random forums youre spamming this guy's situation on. pretty awful representation of gamers right here.

He can use SteamIDs to target people who disagree with him on a forum and make their games crash?

It's stickied on their message board. I'd say that is a matter of endorsement.

ok? then they can remove it, doesn't make them liable or his steam account liable in anyway.

That's what I'm hoping they do because it sets a dangeorus precedent.
