Keeping the shuttle and all the crew alive?

Hey, I don't understand how to keep the shuttle. Whatever value I enter for the turn, it still ends up wrong and the shuttle breaks.

Also, all the 3-person crew runs out of oxygen eventually, even when Jackie tells me about the additional oxygen and "we have enough oxygen anyway".
