THE BIG COYOTE TOUR Mission Bug

I'm down to the last task "Harvest 1 coyote in Highton Peaks downed with the .270 Huntsman" on "The Big Coyote Tour" mission and I have shot 10+ coyotes in Highton Peaks and it will not finish. I Have tried everything from changing ammo to restarting the game. Does anyone else have this issue or is just me?

I have it. It is the only "Game breaking" bug I've encountered. Because this actually stops your progress through the main missions. I've clean killed about 5 or 6 in Highton Peaks and nothing, and I've probably killed 5 or 6 more that weren't clean kills.

I was killing coyotes with my .270 and none of the animals were counting. So I thought to myself this must be another bug. Then I went into the mission log and noticed that the quest says you have to use a .270 huntsman and I had been using the .270 warden. As most of you know the .270 warden is the weapon that is unlocked (if you qualify) for playing theHunter: Classic and having either subscribed to the game at some point or had a hunter score of 50 or more. So if you're using the warden to kill coyotes for that quest....they will not count. I had to purchase the .270 huntsman in order to complete the quest. I hope they change the quest to a .270 in general because 40K credits for (2) .270 weapons is a little much.

Nah I noticed that before I started, but I completed it somehow after killing like 15+ coyotes in that district.

A fix will come in for this issue as soon as possible but until then you will have to HOLD the .270 when harvesting the Coyote.

It's February 3rd of 2018 and this is still not fixed? I've shot 3 coyotes in Highton Peaks in the last two days which is my last requirement for this mission and it will not register towards the mission.

no bug. it was my mistake. needed to look at the remaining task on the phone/tracker.

yea the phone tells ya which ones ya havn't completed, the miision page doesn't, I can see why people thought this was a bug when its not
