Scandinavia:
- flat terrain divided by morain hills and eskers, small overgrown lake systems and glacial blocks and rock outcrops.
- dense spruce forest mixed with open bogs and pine around eskers and sandy areas
- brown bear, moose, muskox, fox, hare, roe deer, wolverine, wolf, rock ptarmigan, capercaillie and ducks/canadian goose.
:)

either India or china, Africa two is obviously a winner.
i know alot of people want Australia, but i personally don't care for it.

btw, chital/spotted deer are the same as axis deer. (notice the axis deer call is named "chital screamer" or something like that.)

I would like either China or India, Siberian/Bengal Tiger included. Without it, it doesn't count very much anyway. Elephant would be nice for either India or Africa.

South Africa still hasn't gotten many of its more famous animals such as elephants, rhinos and giraffes... It's kinda sad that most maps don't even have half of the animals that you'd expect to see.

I think either Africa 2.0 or western China but mostly Africa just because of all the animals that could be added to it

I would go for Asia just for the diversity. For something unexpected perhaps an area near the Himalayas with the most severe terrain of any map so far.
I picture a map with one giant mountain as it's dominant feature. COTW can do distant landscapes amazingly well so the views from mountains like this would be excellent for photography side missions. Rescue or delivery missions to locations increasingly high on the mountain. The low elevation areas offer a lush green contrast for smaller and more abundant wildlife.

A map area similar to the Khumbu Ice Fall at Everest base camp with deep crevasses the player crosses by walking on ladders. It would be a cool visual and a ladder could made as a deploy-able item the player can drop. Traversing a glacier to follow a herd of musk ox would be pretty epic with the roof of the world as a backdrop.

While a dog sled is asking too much, at least a reskin of the ATV into a snow mobile. Store items like clothes that reflect mountaineering gear. Backpacks with ropes and carabiners hanging off them. If clothes are only going to be cosmetic just add skins that are mountain gear, perhaps ski goggles or even face masks like they use for supplemental oxygen.

I know there isn't actually much that high to hunt so it'd be a bit 'gamey' but toss in a few big horn sheep below the summit and make the summit a landmark for the player to reach. I can see the flood of summit pix on the Steam community page.

Species include yaks, musk ox, alpacas, small predators, tigers, monkeys and a variety of birds.
At times COTW can be like a hiking simulator, and a map like this would lean into that a bit by giving the player a signature location to visit that isn't primarily based on hunting there.
