Frustratingly we managed to get within the number of positions required to see each other when looking at the self section of the leaderboard but whilst i was ranked at (for examples sake 3442 cant remember if that is the actual ranking or not) his same position was someone else. In the self section of the leader board there is not 1 common player between our leaderboards (despite the rankings within viewing from our own positions overlapping). Does what i have just said make any sense? What is going on here?
To clarify in the top 100 there are some common players between our respective leaderboards so we can see players and i can see globes next to players that are common where he sees the xbox symbol and i see the steam symbol where he sees globe symbol, so this seems to indicate globe just means other platform and we can indeed see some players from each others platform that we can both see.
If we could just see each other in the leaderboards to challenge each other once then we would be able to just challenge each other from the recent players list. This is highly frustrating and i still feel like we are just missing some simple search feature somehow.
Can anyone shed any light on this or can the devs confirm if a search feature is missing, featured or at least planned?
In regard to the leaderboards, on PC you will be seeing PlayStation and Xbox One players as PC is cross platform with both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and PSVR users. If your brother has opted in to cross platform play, his Xbox leaderboards will only show Xbox One and PC users. This explains why you will be seeing different listings.
We actually did manage to find each other by choosing the 24 hour limit mode and trying a few times by searching at the same time. I'm glad to hear this is something you will be looking at though because it was certainly frustrating for us.
Other than that the game is fantastic and you have done a really brilliant job. I love the visuals and audibles so thanks a lot and keep up the good work!
