Also, Missile Racks - re-usable Missiles!
The first is the Paneuro Cyclops cyberwalker. Not so much for its capabilities as just being a really interesting unit concept, to me at least. Most of the benefits of it being a walker don't come up outside the miniatures game, but I've filed that away into my 'I'll think of something" list to tweak with some house rules.

The second is the Coelacanth GEV-Ogre from the eponymous scenario. Speed and a withdraw distance/second movement are some of my favorite things in a unit. To have that in an Ogre is just the best imaginable thing. The fact that it's carting around a pair of cruise missiles is just an added bonus.

Ooh, I've not come across that one before. That's awesome!
Extremely awesome. I have half a mind to design some more GEV-based Cybertanks, I really like the concept.
So I don't really have a preference, but the most iconic is the Mark V; it's _literally_ the posterchild for the game and a very tough nut to crack.
I'll drink to that. They can be interesting in the right scenario, but the game really shines in its terrain and manuever elements. All things playing as a single ogre tends to completely remove. Unpopular opinion: the classic Ogre vs CP scenario is really the game's weakest point.
Not sure where or when I saw an image of it (on the SJG website, maybe?) but the very idea of an Ogre unit becoming "possessed" by an extra-dimensional Lovecraftian tentacled horror and then returning to the battlefield to wreak havoc with new powers...well, the imagination shudders at the idea.
My prior attempts were lackluster.
The Mark V had that massive sloping invulnerable front and the two primary batteries looking like evil eyeballs. It grabbed your attention and fired your imagination.
For a few years Steve Jackson Games used the Ogre as its logo, which made me quite proud.
Now my favorite OGRE is also a draw between the MK III and IV. In a points game, the lower cost of the III allows you to buy a support force for added flexibility in achieving your objectives (which isn't always going to be Kill the CP) while the manuverability and firepower of the IV alows for quick sniping of unit while staying away from them. :)
Here's my FanMade iteration:

Also very intrigued by the NINJA Stealth OGRE.
Nice! I like the slightly more squat design of the European variant.
That walker is great as well!
