Doesn't have to. Developers/publishers pay for it to protect the initial sales. Obviously they think it's worth it, otherwise they wouldn't spend money on it.

And Denuvo being inherently bad for performance is pretty much a myth; it only decreases performance significantly if it's implemented poorly.

That version has already been cracked. JC4 will be cracked in less than a week just like Hitman 2. Denuvo is completely useless.

lol when you try to sound smart, Dennuvo is an anti piracy software its not used for anti cheat theres also no multyplayer in Just Cause 3 so lol.
