Code of Conduct, Griefers, and Bans
Foxhole is a game where many players are encouraged to work together in a sandbox environment. Due to the freedom that we give players, there is always the opportunity for players to cause trouble and ruin the experience for others.

We expect every player to follow the rules listed below. If you are found to break these rules, expect a ban to be issued.

Code of Conduct
  • No team killing or destruction of team property
  • No team stealing
  • No intentional disruption of team progress
  • No offensive language
  • No other behavior that is generally considered griefing

Dealing with Griefers
If you encounter griefing in the game (i.e. players breaking the code of conduct), use the following guidelines to resolve the issue.
  1. First, try resolve the issue by talking it out with the offending player through in-game text or voice chat. Sometimes, griefing actions are accidental or a result of a simple misunderstanding.
  2. Second, use the in-game vote kick option to report the offending player. To do this, press F1 to get to the player screen then click on the boot icon on the row of the offending player.
  3. As a last resort, contact the mods on Discord (see Disputing Bans below on how to do this) to resolve the issue.

Disputing Bans
If you feel you have been wrongfully banned, please join the Foxhole Discord[discord.gg] and post your issue or tag a mod in the #mod-report channel. Since the mods are extremely busy, we ask that you only dispute bans that you genuinely feel were wrongfully issued. In such a case, a moderator will examine your record and investigate the case. If they find that you are disputing a case where you clearly broke the code of conduct that is shown when you first enter the game (e.g. you team killed numerous times), further punishment may be enforced.

Additional Support
If you are unable to resolve an issue after following the steps above require additional support, please contact foxhole@clapfootgames.com.

If they remove friendly fire Then it would be too easy to throw/shoot explosives with out worrying about killing team mates

There is no kick reason for going around stealing cars with wrench and working against the team.

Allso having to join a 3rd party program to actually report greefing is not a solution.

"Allso having to join a 3rd party program to actually report greefing is not a solution."

Just because it isn't a solution you like doesn't mean that it isn't a solution.

You can use Discord within a browser. There are many game developers and publishers that require you to create an account to receive support.
Don't mind this one that they wrote:

"3. As a last resort, contact the mods on Discord (see Disputing Bans below on how to do this) to resolve the issue."

Mods won't do anything about it and this point in time. And griefers are not being banned.
Well since they do not do anything about unfait bans, and I am indeed banned, I will spend my free time to damage this game's reputation on the web as much as possible.

If you feel you have been unfairly banned, post in the #mod_support channel on discord, or contact one of the mods. We are working on a more permanent in-game solution, so please bear with us in the meantime.

Furthermore, we've changed the policy of DMing mods, as they have been receiving a lot of reports since EA launch. If you feel like the mods haven't been able to solve your issue, please contact one of the devs through discord.

Our mods do a lot of work on volunteered time, and if they miss your issue, it's because they're swamped. Thanks for understanding guys.

Trolls aren't killing the game and they are an extremely small minority of the player base. I've been playing nonstop for some time now and I the vast majority of players are friendly and willing to help and have a good time. Most of the players getting griefed are simply unlucky or aren't being completely honest about things. Like all the players saying they get their truck stolen all the time are either lying or dumb enough to leave it parked somewhere for 30 minutes and then wonder why its gone.

I completely disagree. Most players are selfish and do not have the interests of the team at heart. I have come across griefing and trolling in literally every single hour I have played this game.

This game relies on teamwork. The problem is that not all positions on a team are fun. Similar to how any MMO struggles with finding players who want to fill the support role, out of a team of 100 players, i am surprised if even 10 of them will want to mine or deliver supplies.

And griefing will destroy this game.

I don't believe this to be true, as most (emphasis on MOST) players are friendly and cooperate, at least in my experience. Though the griefers I HAVE met are a right pain.

Side note: I think that vehicle team kills should be nerfed, or even removed, because a little tap outright kills me.
