no idea but all of those try
I'll try the others but even if they do work with the ghosting, I'm not so sure about it crashing each time. I'll take a screenshot now, I meant to do it earlier.
Make sure that Reprojection is turned off in your SteamVR settings and that SuperSampling in developer tab is set to 1.

here's a video of that ghosting effect. It shows up on camera so much better from The Lab but it's basically the same exact thing in Duck Season. I'll check Reprojection in a sec
I'll try this after the above.
That's not ghosting, that's artifacting unless the camera is picking up things a bit weird?
The Lab, as in the game? So this is happening with other titles?
If that's the case, and the game is running fine on your monitor... You might want to double check your headset is plugged in properly and there's nothing wrong with your graphics card HDMI port.
What's ghosting then? I just called it that since it's showing up transparently.
And yeah, but these are the only two games where it's a real problem. In The Lab, most of the time it doesn't happen but it does occur very frequently in the slingshot minigame. In Duck Season? Basically all the time. I'll check that the headset is plugged in completely to be safe.
How do I check if there's anything wrong with the HDMI port?
I think this is tied into the adaptive rendering and reprojection. That area in The Lab is one of the more graphically intensive ones which causes the engine to change the quality a lot. I think it's oculus timewarp conflicting with SteamVR reprojection.
I would first make sure that both "Allow asynchronous reprojection" and "Allow interleaved reprojection" in the SteamVR settings are turned off.
If you still have issues, then disable adaptive rendering. To do this, right click the game, go to properties, go to the general tab and click on "SET LAUNCH OPTIONS...". Now type in "-noaq" (without quotes) and this will turn off adaptive rendering all together.
Let me know if this fixes your issue.
Good news is, typing in -noaq worked! Bad news is, since I'm such a wimp I don't know when I'm gonna decide to dive into the real meat of the game.
All jokes aside, I really appreciate the help from you and whoever runs the Facebook page. Cheers!
