Yep might aswell wait for the sales if you want this, if you all avoid the launch price might be 20-30% summer sale and 50-75% come christmas, all you got to do is wait.
When the shooter that is meant to redefine all shooters comes back for a second attempt. You don't get a discount or free copy to experience the revolution. You need a beta demo to carry your product if you want sales like... I dunno, Battleborn 2?
Either way its just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ really. If they wanted, they could do that. But it wont bring them any money like that so they wont do it.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Gearbox ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you guys.

unless the company really wants to go bankrupt then i kinda welcome it
Okay, you don't own the original game... how does that prevent you from discounting YOUR game?
Ok it is up to the business to set the price, now yes they can put a discount in for certain customers to show loyalty, however there is nothing written down that they HAVE TO do this, by doing a discount it does sweeten the deal for people to buy it and the company becomes liked as a result.
If you don't like the price you can knock on the Pub/Devs door or wait for a sale after the games release. I would not hold your breath tho.
Tbh even with the discount, people still would not buy it as they think just because GBX has touched makes it toxic to buy...
