Some people play, but because WTO has had no QOL updates in forever and they probably wont update this game to be better and less clunky(it has had updates but they were ♥♥♥♥ like no care dont play anymore kinda updates), .. so yeah it's going to die off quicker.
Most people moved to WTO2 for the low low price of supporting them again at $70.

This right here. These companies and devs should be blacklisted from the industry.

EA scams like these are no different than Bernie Madoff. Takes money from group A to give to group B and then takes even more money from group B (since they saw return) and give to group C. Rinse and repeat.

In other words: Devs make game EA to rack up money, abandon or "release" it even though it's half finished with a mountain full of unfulfilled promises, and then create another game doing the same thing with money from the first. We see this time and time again. Look at LIF:YO's devs.
